These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Trip Connect. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Trip Connect. By registering, you confirm that your information is accurate and that you are legally allowed to use the service.

2. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for keeping your login information secure and for activity on your account. Tell us if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Member Conduct

You agree not to harass, threaten, scam, impersonate, exploit, spam, upload illegal content, or use Trip Connect for unlawful activity. Respect other members and their boundaries.

4. Profile Information and Photos

You must provide truthful profile information. Profile photos should represent you and must not contain illegal, abusive, misleading, or non-consensual content. We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these terms.

5. Trust Passport Verification

Trust Passport is a manual review process intended to improve trust. Approval does not guarantee a member's identity, intentions, safety, background, or travel plans. Always use good judgment when meeting people.

6. Messaging and Subscriptions

Trip Connect may offer a limited number of free messages to verified members and paid subscriptions for continued messaging. Subscription features, pricing, and availability may change. Payments are processed by Stripe.

7. Trips and Meetings

Trip Connect helps members discover travel overlaps, but members are responsible for their own decisions, safety, travel arrangements, expenses, and meetings. Meet in public places and tell someone you trust about your plans.

8. Blocking, Reports, and Enforcement

You can block or report members. We may review reports and take action, including warnings, content removal, suspension, or account deletion.

9. Account Deletion

You may delete your account from settings. Some records may be retained if required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, payment, or abuse-investigation purposes.

10. No Guarantee

Trip Connect is provided as available. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, successful matches, safe meetings, or that all member information is accurate.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Trip Connect is not responsible for indirect losses, member conduct, travel incidents, disputes, or damages arising from use of the service.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms as the service changes. Continued use of Trip Connect after updates means you accept the revised terms.
